Just do whatever you want to do,be whoever you wanna be,no need to care about anybody else. You've already thrown the burden to him, so you can relax and live your own life. Gambateh!
Don't do=100% fail, Do=could still succeed though probably very small chance..
At the end of the day, if you decide to do, do not regret what you did. You choose your own road. No matter what happens, it's just part of life after all...
